On Friday, we had the pleasure of operating on 8 wonderful patients ~all primary breast augmentation patients and all were up and out and shopping the night of surgery. Two of our patients were from out of state, one from Washington state and one from North Carolina. Here is a note I received from our lady in NC tonight after arriving home late last night. It is so heart warming to us to see patients do well and truly enjoy their entire breast augmentation experience……
Hi Terrye,
I made it back home last night about 11:50 pm EST. I had no difficulties whatsoever.
My checked bag at the airport weighed 31 lbs. but I did have to pull it with my carry-on bag from the hotel room to the car and then from the shuttle bus to the Delta check-in but I don’t feel I over did it. I was not exhausted last night considering how long a day it had been.
I did hit the mall on Saturday before I left Dallas. I bought my boys some Lego items at the Lego store and also went into the other toy store. My little Mark had woken up just before I got home last night so I was able to snuggle with him to get him back to sleep. That was my first overnight away from him. Funny how they seem to grow and change a little even after only a couple days away.
I feel great today. The arm exercises seem effortless now and I don’t do them as often but feel they are still necessary at this point. I don’t hear the air popping noise as much either. I feel I have some trapped air in my belly though but perhaps it is the post-surgery carbs and Chinese food I ate….ha!
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience as I did with you and your husbands team of professionals. For me not to have one iota of nervousness going into the surgery says a lot of how at ease and comfortable I felt having chosen your husband to perform my breast augmentation. My post-op recovery thus far has been picture perfect. In a magazine I purchased at the airport my horoscope read, “Happy Birthday! A new journey begins for you. (I turn 40 in Feb. and this was a birthday gift to myself) Lucky Number: 7 “(I was his 7th patient that day).
Let me know if you want me to send pictures at certain intervals down the road. I obviously don’t have the luxury of being able to schedule follow-ups with him like your local Dallas patients but I would be more than happy to send photos via e-mail.
I was hoping to thank Dr. Tebbetts in person but please pass along how thrilled I am with my new implants. I could not have been in more competent, caring hands as his that day. Also, a heartfelt thanks to you and Karen for coordinating my trip to Dallas and educating me every step of the way. Your team is the best. If a prospective patient from my neck of NC would like to talk to talk with a post-op patient of Dr. Tebbetts feel free to pass along my name and contact information.
