Unfortunately, today, we see far more saline deflations – or flat tires – than we would like to see. However, there is a silver lining to this dark reoperation cloud……being able to have the new silicone breast implants!
Here is a one year post op note from a patient who had a deflation and had to switch from saline to silicone….
Terrye— Can’t believe one year has already past. Don’t know where the time goes. Just wanted to send you a note to let you know that my boobs are great, love them so much, actually better than the last set…….Kinda glad I had the “flat tire” otherwise I would have never known about the new ones. I don’t think I needed to come back unless I had a problem, otherwise let me know. Hope all is well in your surroundings. Have a wonderful holiday season and I still keep referring folks your direction……Tell Dr. Tebbetts, Kathleen and everyone else hello, actually miss seeing you all — if i am ever in your vicinity, I will stop in to say hello………
Even though I detest revision/reops – I am pleased when they have this kind of outcome!!
